Land Rover Reveals Existence velar, Debut in Geneva

Land Rover has just released the official views velar Range Rover which will be their new SUV. Velar will enter the ranks of the Range Rover family. Its position is between the Range Rover Sport and Evoque and is projected as a serious challenger to the Porsche Macan.

Initially, the car is inviting speculation about the naming was to be given. Starting from the Range Rover Sport Coupe to the Grand Evoque, which eventually countered by Landy and confirm the name velar.

Velar name itself is not a new name. The word is taken from the Latin "Velare" is used as a code car prototypes produced only a few units in 1969, before the Range Rover name used. It can be said, this is the pioneer of the premium SUV Land Rover which is the forerunner of the birth of the Range Rover.

Range Rover Velar Body Design

Land Rover recently released the picture taking from the top rear corner. Clearly, Landy wants to show off panoramic roof which covers almost the entire roof velar. Overall design has not seemed to indicate what is the difference velars with or RR Evoque Sport. Similarities remain there with the other Range Rover lineup. But taillight merges with garnish reads Range Rover, is the main difference velar.
