Land Rover  scheduled the launch of the latest generation of Defender in 2018. For the best results, the iconic British SUV manufacturer some time ago began to torture Defender.

Defender now actually left the design boxy trademark legendary. Land Rover take advantage of platform new aluminum material when designing Defender. Thus quoted by Autocar.

Land Rover Defender decided to produce a centralized, concurrent Discovery, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport in Solihull, England. In fact, Land Rover has had an aluminum plant in several locations.

"We are working creates an authentic successor Defender before. This architecture will contain many different elements from other aluminum car," said Ralf Speth, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover.

The use of a platform for some of these models aim to reduce the cost as mass-production vehicles. Speth also admits that if the entire model which they worked aiming to reap the benefits.

Although the cost of production is more efficient, Land Rover Defender ensures successor has the ability off-road world class and reliability as the predecessor.
