Jaguar Land Rover (JRL) has just introduced the latest engine named Ingenium. Newer machines from British manufacturer has a light weight, small, fuel efficient, low missions, and of course the high performance.

This engine will be available in petrol and diesel variants. One that was developed is a four-cylinder engine with a 2.0 liter turbodiesel known as AJ200D. The mechanical engineer will reduce internal friction by 17 percent from the current machine.

The new family of engines JRL is lighter than its predecessor, but depending on the specific configuration. AJ200D Jaguar XE will use the latest, and will be the engine with a lightweight construction and has a high fuel efficiency.

"Configuration and flexible are the two keys of DNA Ingenium, because we have a future. Ingenium will be able to receive new advances in fuel, turbocharging, emissions, performance and technology electrification when the machine is ready and will be used," said JLR Powertrain Engineering Director, Ron Lee, as reported Leftlanenews, Thursday (10/7).

The latest Ingenium engine is expected to be used in the entire line-up of Jaguar Land Rover in the next few years, and also can be used in all of the sports utility vehicle (SUV) from JRL
